There’s a special satisfaction that comes from capturing a true story. It’s an act of defiance and joy.

This immersive course blends practical teaching, inspiring readings, group feedback, and one-on-one mentoring. Over four weeks, you'll explore how writers play with language, imagery and scenes to create compelling personal narratives. You'll learn how to weave facts, feelings and reflections to build a vivid short story that speaks from the heart.

Led by author Adrienne Ferreira, you'll be guided to develop your own 2,000 word true story, with mentoring from Adrienne.

With a focus on structure and voice, you’ll be encouraged to draft and dive deeper into your subject to create a powerful piece that moves others.

Ideal for writers at any level looking to sharpen their voice and deepen their storytelling craft.
