Adrienne Ferreira
Writer, Teacher & Mentor
Founder of Bravewords and co-host of Bravewords Live, Adrienne is working to develop a stronger writing community in her region by providing opportunities for people to gather in supportive spaces to build writing confidence, learn literary craft and connect more deeply through storytelling.
With a BA in Psychology and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Sydney, she is the author of the novel, Watercolours, published by 4th Estate and nominated for the Indie debut book of the year. Her non-fiction work has appeared in The Monthly and she is a Varuna Writers’ House fellowship award winner.
Adrienne is passionate about sharing her love of language and the benefits of engaging with creative writing at all stages of life.
